Today in Class...
  • We had a guest speaker in class today. His name was Dan and he shared about the country of Haiti in the aftermath of the horrific earthquake in 2010. He has been three times since the devastating earthquake assisting local leaders in the redevelopment of their nation as well as the feeding of thousands of children and adults. Working with an American relief organization based upon compassion and empowerment, Dan explained to the students today the need for us to expand our worldviews, why compassion for others is necessary, and what the hope for Haiti is as they recover from loss
